Rafting & Inflatable Kayaks
All rafting and kayaking trips are conducted by a licensed and permitted outfitter through the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area.
River rafting is one of the most exciting ways to see the hidden wonders of Colorado. If you are seeking the natural beauty of God's creation, the river is the place to take it all in. The world class Arkansas River offers close to 100 miles of navigable water ranging from introductory floating to technical rapids with huge holes and massive waves. Whatever your desire or experience, the Arkansas offers a section for you. Whether you are interested in running some of the most exciting rapids in a raft or inflatable kayak in our half or all day trips, or spending several days floating and camping, our multiple options will have what you are looking for.
Brown's Canyon is considered the best family rafting trip in the U.S. and parallels a Wilderness Study Area throughout the canyon. With miles of scenic beauty, Brown's Canyon offers exciting rapids such as: Zoom Flume, Big Drop, Twin Falls and Seidel's Suckhole. The Royal Gorge offers the best continuous whitewater in Colorado. While navigating such rapids as Sunshine, Sledgehammer, and Boat Eater, you will pass under the famous Royal Gorge Bridge which stands almost 1100 feet above the surface of the river. A half day trip is ideal for those with limited time wanting maximum experience. Full day and multi-day trips offer a complete river experience and can be customized to meet your needs.
1/2 Day Rafting Brown’s Canyon
This 12 mile trip begins at Fisherman's Bridge and takes you all of the way through beautiful Brown's Canyon where we navigate 11 class III and IV rapids. Zoom Flume, Bigdrop, Widow maker,and yes Seidel's Suckhole and Twin falls are just a few of the rapids you'll experience on this exciting and scenic trip. Because we end this trip on private property we can offer you rapids you won't get with most other companies.
1/2 Day (includes State Park Fees) $80.00

Wet suits, booties & splash jackets: $6.00 per person - Tip: $8.00 per person - Photos on disk: $7.00 per person (we will burn all the images to 1 disk).

You Bring
We recommend you wear clothes that dry quickly. Swim suits, shorts, polypro or fleece top, water sandals, or tennis shoes you can get wet work well. Sunscreen is a necessity. We suggest you have dry clothes to change into after your trip. Wet suits, booties, and splash jackets will be available for rent.
